Hey! So my GF is on her way out to IYC in Fort Collins in Colorado.. and well she just called me and let me know that she had an hour and a half delay on her flight cuz they had to change the tires on the plane! I have never heard of such a thing! I mean I new airplanes had tires and all that but I guess it never really occurred to me that they would have to change them?? And how exactly do you discover moments before departure time that you need to change the tire? You walking around and then you notice, "hey.. this tire is flat?" A little unusual if you ask me.. and how would you like to be that guy (or woman) who has to change the tire! I mean how exactly does that work? Do you just throw a several ton plane up on a jack and pop of the old and put on the new...? I have a feelng that it is not that easy?? I have never changed a tire on a regular automobile I canNOT imagine changing a massive airplane tire! Well either way I found that quite interesting.. but by now she should be loading the plane and talking off shortly! But I salute you Airplane Tire Changer DUDE! Keep up the good work!
I am really excited for my GF.... Cuz Colorado is a really pretty state.. and I know that this week of work.. will be busy and work.. but it is going to be completely different and fun for her too! Not so much a vacation and not so much work but a hybrid of the two!?
Another thing kind of confusing.. it was recently brought to my attention this whole dealy with gas cards... which are evidently the samething as give cards.. but yet if you use one of them.. then you get three or four cents off every gallon. You don't pay anything for the card.. but yet you get the same product only cheaper?? I definately do not understand it.. but I think that I might try and take advantage of it this afternoon when I have to fill of the minivan.. so that I can head home and enjoy the beaches of southwest michigan! Ya COLOMA! That is where it is at.. there you can get midgrade at the same price as regular.. and well that is a deal!

Dazed
Why when you are tired does everything have to be exaggerated… animated.. and just such a BIG deal? Lol… I speak from personal experience.. one time not to long ago in an apartment not so far away.. there I was with my GF.. and well I must of closed my eyes for maybe.. five or ten minutes and the next thing I know I am up and getting ready to go and I am already except for the fact that I CANNOT find my wallet for anything? Hahaha! I swear I was looking around for it must have been like ten minutes.. and during this time.. my ever so helpful girlfriend.. flips on the light only to agitate my already groggy state.. so I was freaking out cuz my wallet wasn’t in my back pocket! My girlfriend also being the patient.. gentle.. and caring woman she is she found my wallet cuz it was sitting out in the open on a chair. Girlfriends are GREAT! And I knew that even while under the influence of exhaustion!

Who knew that four months earlier I would be asking out Emily Beth Starke? After hanging out for about 7 months... we finally decided to take the plunge and date! Admission's representative.. and a HOT one at that became my girlfriend! It seemed so natural.. so wonderful! And well today happens to be our four month anniversary.. really not a huge deal... but yet it kind of is! It isn't like we celebrate every week or month.. but I wanted to do something for her today.. and well this just gave me an excuse to do it! I mean it is a third of a year!? :) So today is just a GREAT day! Thursday... beautiful weather.. beautiful girlfriend... it makes for a wonderful life! :)

Yep!
Life goes on.. It continues.. yesterday was a great day! I worked... then left work and that is when the fun started! Took a run.. which was rough.. and I got a cramp and continued to run.. which still kinda hurts... Then I went to my GF's... and ran some errands with her and then we came home and cooked dinner and just sat around the house.. who new it could be so much fun between my demonstration of how Em dances... to many other crazy things.. It is funny how that stuff works sometimes and how you are in a great mood because of someone.. or just happy.. or the way you smile just cuz you get to see her (or him)! :)
I slept last night.. under just a sheet with two fans on me and a window open and I woke up early to shut fans off.. and find more substantial coverage.. if you know what I mean cuz this morning it was kinda cold.. but never fail our office is hot.. and I have a long sleeve on.. GOSH!? Oh well hopefully I look good?? And my girlfriend sees me! Always like to look good for her! Hmmm.. well it is Wednesday..and well time to hit the pavement and get the day started! Let's get it started! In here!

Livestrong!
So Armstrong managed to win the Tour de France for the seventh time.. kinda crazy if you ask me?? But pretty amazing... and with winning it 7 times he has sold these livestrong bracelets to support cancer research and I heard on the radio on my way to work that those bracelets have raised 52 million dollars!!! That is pretty oustanding if you ask me!
However on a not so positive note... I was on my way to work merging onto the highway a simple task that I do so often.. and yet a semi-truck ran me off the road... he could have scooted over into the other lane.. but no... he continue in the same lane I was trying to merge into and well needless to say I ran out of entrance ramp and had to come to a complete stop on the shoulder of the road only after hitting like every possible rumble strip that was present! So what a great way to start of the day.. you know?? Well I made it to work for yet another day of work!

Deep Fried
Last night was quite the storm.. and I happen to have to be out in it on a handful of occassions? It was really RAINING! Last night proved to be yet another fun filled experience with Emily... between shopping... and more shopping.. and just everything was fun! Yet why is it that something always happens to ruin something so perfect? Why do you have to break that silence with a stupid comment? Or start they day off with a frown instead of a smile? Or saying something that you really don't mean only to not be able to take it back for hours later??? Life is tough sometimes... a lot as my life shows? But however tough it maybe it is all worth it!
Once I got home after another quick sit in front of the PS Foodmart gas station.. My aunt just happen to be up and had just got done making fried chicken.. and well cuz I couldn't hurt her feelings.. I consumed a piece of chicken (it was a huge piece though), a piece of a brownie, and a tall glass of water.. all the meantime fellowshipping with my aunt! However that tall glass of water came back strong this morning when it proved to be a reason to get out of bed! :) All in all.. a pretty interesting day!

Cutie!
Have you ever had one of those experiences where the worst happens and yet it brings out the best in someone! Well, never fail my GF is that person… She marvelous.. and such a blessing in my life.. and probably more than she will ever know… But isn’t she so cute in this pic! I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the beholder would have to be a fool to not see this beauty! Emily has been and continues to be great to me… surprising me constantly, even if sometimes it is jumping out from behind a corner.. She is amazing! Understanding... caring.. I am honestly one of the luckiest guy in the world and the envy of many I am sure!

Father of mine
Well yesterday was an interesting experience for a couple of reasons! It started off being kinda rough because I had to be upfront and honest with my GF! Which is always hard.. but always pays off! But after that I began to get in a little better mood and then the night concluded with me having to leave Em still awake, not usual, to go and sit in a gas station parking lot and make sure that nothing happen to his daughter who was working and closing up the gas station by herself! Over-protective?? Hmmm.. at first glance yes! But this makes me wonder exactly what kind of father I will be! Would I be the one who doesn't worry? Or would I be the one who goes out of his way and takes extra effort to make sure that my girl is safe and secure and will not get hurt! Hmm.. well my guess is that I will worry and will take the extra effort! So is he over-protective.. Hmm.. I think not.. I think he is being a GREAT father.. loving... caring.. and protecting! So I guess it is different when you put yourself in someone else's shoes and see how your perspective and actions change... wierd how that works.. and this was just a really vivid and clear example for me to see that! Makes me think... More than usual.. and I am not sure if that is a good thing or not.. lol!

Pondering
Have you ever had those days or those times in which you get into that mood to just ponder?? Kinda one of those wierd moods.. in which you seem really mellow.. almost sad looking.. and you just think.. and your mind just can't stop racing..
Whether you stand there and think about all of God's beautiful creation or his will for your life?? Your friends, family, GF or other relationships?? Whether you are thinking about tomorrow, a week, or a year down the line?? Why? Why do I think.. ponder... worry? Cuz I am human?? Do I need to worry? Of course not.... I need to TRUST in God! He knows what he is doing!! But I think that many times this is easier said than practiced! How do you whole heartedly and sincerely give you worries, plans, and thoughts over to God?? I really don't have an answer to such questions, but I think that it might be different for each individual... You know what you can handle.. and you know what you worry about.. and what you need? And God knows what to give you!
So many times throughout my daily schedule or routine I think that I get stressed out.. frustrated.. overreact... sad.. depressed or many other emotional states simply because of what seems rushed and hurried life! I really feel that God knows what we are going through and he understands.. and whether we think so or not he is among the stress.. frustration and everything else we feel.. he knows what I am going through and he knows what he is doing and that is a formula for a GREAT future if you know what I am saying...

Monday = Funday!?
Monday morning.. and well after a not so good night of sleep I have returned for another day of work! I am not sure why I did not sleep good I think that it has something to do with the fact that I could not get comfortable and well I may have had a few things on my mind? None the less.. I have arrived at work with yet another headache.. who would have thought?
My weekend was great despite the weather.. I got to spend time with my GF... Which was a really good thing and got to learn things about each other.. which is great for our relationship! :)
When is the last time you did a puzzle?? For me it had been awhile until this weekend! :) And now I am working on a 500 piece puzzle! And it was kinda slow at first, but as I got into it.. it started to go faster.. and was kinda addicting?? lol..
So not sure what to do.. but I am going to make this Monday into a Funday! Or at least try and then hopefully after work will at least be fun! So I am off to hopefully have the day cruise by quickly.. and well.. BYE!

Well for any of you out there who care this day is taking FOREVER! And it is a Friday! And I can't wait until the weekend because it is a weekend! :) OH YA!
So I am beginning to run out of pictures to post on my blog so maybe I will have have to begin taking some more pictures.. or have someone take some pictures.. but that means I have to do something.. lol..

Hot Air Balloons!
Hey so on my way to work I had decided that I was going to blog about hot air balloons.. and well my GF beat me to it.. but either way.. it was my idea first! ;) So I am driving and I just see all of these hot air balloons in the sky... Just floating.. hoovering.. across the pale blue sky... But the way the hot air balloons move in the air they don't even look like they are moving.. Interesting?? And I really don't know how they stay up there... I mean I guess I kinda do but not really.. ?? And that statement itself makes no sense... But when I saw the hot air balloons up in the air they looked like they didn't weigh anything?
I think that it would be a lot of fun to ride in a hot air balloon!! Has anyone ever done it?? Wonder if my GF would ride in one?? Hmm? I will definately have to find out?? And I had no clue that Jackson had a hot air balloon festival... that is kinda cool! Maybe?
Million Dollar Baby, anybody? Well I watched that last night and it was a well put together and everything.. but kind of a depressing and sad movie.. but it was a good one! :)

Uncle Chuckie's BBQ
Nothing like a good old BBQ at Uncle Chucks.. especially after eating like twenty chicken tenders... But having Em + some of her Family + some BBQ = A GOOD TIME.. and well here is a pic of me and her. enjoying the overcast weather from indoors! So YeaH!

What to say what to say! So I started reading a study guide for the DAT's... the Dental Admission Test.. ya and I read the first chapter of many and most of the stuff I thought I knew.. so that is good! However there is much more reading in my future!
Hmm.. so today is Thursday and work is going.. not really fast or anything but it is going... I wore my pants that are known as my "dentist" pants today! Evidently they make me look like a dentist or atleast that is what I am told.. :)
How can things happen without you knowing?? Have you ever had that happen? You forget what day it is? Forget where you are or how you got there!? I am talking about without the help of drugs or alcohol.. for all of those readers out there wondering... Or what about when you fall asleep in a "new" place.. hotel.. couch.. anywhere other than where you are used to falling asleep? And when you wake up you freak out when you wake up.. cuz you don't know where you are for a split second... Why do you think we as humans happen to forget where where are and how we got here between the time we fall asleep and the time that we wake up and rub our eyes?
Breath did you know you could check your breath by scrapping your tongue with an upside down spoon and smelling the spoon? Or what about the fact that alcohol in mouthwash can hinder your breath rather than help as everyone thinks.. cuz the alcohol may provide an environment in which bacteria can grow back quicker! Wow.. bad breath.. morning breath.. why? Why after keeping your mouth closed for a long period of time does your breath stink? And what about the fact that you brush your teeth before you go to bed and when you wake up you breath stinks? Why? Does that make sense? Listerine is NOT as good as FLOSSING.. remember that and make sure to brush twice a day.. cuz otherwise that is just plain GROSS!

Pink raindrops?
Today it is kinda one of those days where it is stretching out and taking a long time you ever had that? I am sure you have... Kinda like one of those seemlessly quick and painless trips to the doctors office.. NOT!
So I was talking just yesterday.. and someone, she knows who she is, raised a question and I found it quite intriguing... "Why don't raindrops hurt if they fall from so high up?" And I know that there is a scientific reason that I should know being a BIO major and all.. but I don't? I like little random questions that make you think...
Why do you think that PINK seems to be the new black, now? I mean really for guys is what I want to know... I mean I am wearing a pink shirt today and I like it?? But I am not sure why pink looks so HOT on guys and girls find it so attractive? Pink isn't a NEW color? Do you think that it has to deal with the fact that guys really didn't or haven't wore much pink until know?? So when a guy does where pink now he is out of the ordinary or rare if you will? So last night was GREAT as usual didn't do anything out of the ordinary.. watched one of my favorite shows.. YEAH FAMILY FUED.. I am really not sure why I like it so much?? Hmm? Also tried to watch the "Aviator" and I really tried and was into it for quite some while.. but it was just too long and crazy of a movie? Either way.. Interesting how things work! You go on vacation to relax and yet when you get back from vacation you need a rest from your vacation! :) Well anyway I was ready to come back from vacation!
I am back into the swing of things!! and so is the summer weather! Today it is suppose to be a blazing 90 some degrees!
Isn't it funny how when you take a break from something even if not for that long.. but then you go back to it and do it again and it feels brand new all over again! That is pretty neat if you ask me!
I got back last night and had the opportunity to stop by and Em and her mom! It was GREAT to see her again.. and nice to get to talk to her mom as well! Life is crazy and seems like you learn new stuff everyday... I mean I know that everyone always says that.. but it is even cooler when you actually experience it!
Today is yes.. yet another monday to start a week... But a good week though.. a GREAT week with blessings waiting.. and experiences to be be experienced.. and memories to be made.. conversations to be had.. and thoughts to be thinked.. papers to be filed and alphabetized.. and people to see.. So I can't wait to see how this week pans out.. but I will try and keep you updated! :)

My farewell
So with no lunch today my day concludes at 2pm.. which sounds early but this day could not have gone any slower.. lol.. Oh well soon enough I will be rushed around driving home.. packing and what not.. so that I can head off to what seems to be becoming an annual family vacation to King’s Island in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ohio home of the buckeyes.. Buckeye what a weird mascot a poisonous nut! Anyway.. whateve.. either way I am out in a few.. and then going to hopefully get some more sun.. after just recovering from some sun from this last weekend! Unfortunately I won’t get to see the GF.. before I leave, but she knows that she is on my mind, in my prayers and thoughts.. so it is okay! When I see her next it will have been about five days since I last saw her!
Today I bid my farewell to the registrar’s office.. and to the Arbor in general.. and the couch that I sleep on daily or nightly if there is such a word! I say goodbye to Em.. and all the other friends and familiar faces that I will not see for five days… But soon enough time will come and time will fly and I will be back before I know it as well as anyone else.. with a few more memories.. a little more sun.. and who knows what else! pier
So I don't have any pictures from this weekend yet.. but if and when I get any I will try and post a couple... :) Until that time.. this oldie will do! Me and Em on the pier in St. Joe.. fun times.. just like this weekend was! :)
Houghton Lake
Woozers.. what a great day, huh? I mean what is not great about it... ? My weekend.. and 4th of July could not have been better.. I did get to go up north to my GF's mom's cottage in Hougton Lake and well needless to say.. A BLAST! I did end up driven up myself on early Saturday morning which worked out quite nice if I do say so myself... especially for as much as I had to worry about it!
Left here at around 9ish.. but did have to stop for gas.. and some coolant.. then I was on my way.. and well since it being my second time heading up here I felt confident in finding the cottage.. that and well.. you really only had to stay on one road the whole way! So I was off... totally excited to see my GF.. and after about two and a half hours give or take a few minutes because of my "sense" of directions and I arrived but of course upon arrival it appeared as no one was at the cottage.. and so with my sixth sense I decided to walk down to the lake and just kinda sit around or whatever until my GF called cuz by this time I had already left two messages for her! :) So anyway to my surprise I got to the lake and hadn't stood there for more than twenty seconds before my GF popped up from a anchored pontoon boat in a bathing suit.. and lets just say I was "pleasantly" surprised to say the least.. so she waded in... and with a quick trip to my car.. a switch-a-roo.. and an interesting "bathroom" break.. I was wading back to the pontoon boat with Em on my arm.. perfect! The rest of the day consisted of sunbathing, which I am still feeling the aftermath of..., fellowship.. lunch... dinner.. and then on the boat for the sunset and the fireworks to follow.. if you can call them that! :) Well with the fireworks as they were we heading in kind of early so we could dock our boat only to see that someone had already got our spot! What an outrage! So then I had an interesting experience in trying to drive/park a pontoon boat.. quite different from anything with wheels I might add! But with me and my GF working together no problem.. one hurdle down and only one more unknown one at this point! By the time all of this had ocurred it was about 11 o'clock at night.. and it was about this point that my wonderful girlfriend discovered/remembered that she did not have her keys with her.. and her car happen to be our only transportation from the marina back to the cottage! This obstacle was overcome as well with a simple call to her aunt Sandy and uncle Don who happen to drive a really nice and smooth riding caddy! But once to the cottage there was no relaxing yet cuz I needed to take Em back to get her car.. but I would not have changed a moment of it because it was all soooo much fun!
Next morning, which would be Sunday... started off with sleeping in cuz basically the sun had exhausted us.. French toast... a quick trip to the oh so familar craft show.. and Glens.. and then it was off to get the pontoon boat, however not without an interuption from a Border Patrolman cuz of a misunderstanding at the border with someone who had ties to my GF.. well after that was resolved we went to the marina to meet uncle Chuckie and aunt Margie, obviously different from the relatives that bailed us out the day before.. So we were off the pontoon.. only for a quick half an hour or so before we needed to come back in to pick up Jamey who had decided afterall to join us.. and then we were back at it.. eating lunch.. lounging in the boat.. soaking up the sun.. with the occasional dip in the murky and spotted lake! Avoiding seaweed beds at all costs because I had already had enough run ins with the weeds the day before.. lol.. The day ended relatively early when we retired from the lake about dinner time.. and then it was off to make some dinner.. and then I got to start a fire.. which I am starting to get pretty dang good at! :) But before starting the fire I had to take a quick trip to Walmart cuz I was in dire need of some aloe if you know what I am saying.. But anyway back to the fire over which we roasted some marshmallows for smores.. which were really good.. but the fire also cuz my sun burn to act up on my feet and my presence at the campfire was short lived.. so I could retire to the couch trying to cool my feet in any way possible! :) Finally off to bed...
Slept in and surprise it was the FOURTH OF JULY! Unfortunately it was a rainy cloudy overcast fourth?! So the day consisted of going to a craft store.. eating a "ploom" of chicken tenders and planning a card game, in which my cardshark of a girlfriend won hands down... which by the way only made her that much attractive... :) Then before we knew it we walked down to see the lake... and then we were off to meet all of the aunts and uncles for a cookout.. which was a lot of fun.. took lots of pics.. and then went back and took a bike ride before settling down for the night! Then of course this morning was an early one.. I set my internal clock a little to early when I woke up at 7:00 and really did need to get up until at least 7:30ish! But oh well.. I was up and about and ready.. ate some breakfast.. said my goodbyes.. and trailed Jamey by about fifteen minutes.. I arrived in Jackson only moments before changing and entering the o'so familar Registrar's office.. for a half a day of work.. I have no pics on the computer or at all right now but will try and post some cute ones when the resources allow it!

Friday complications
So yes Thank Goodness It's Friday! However with Friday has come some complications. So one of my friends is sick.. and she really does NOT feel good at all and now I am not sure when or if I am going to go up north now.. to see EM? Whatever sad news this maybe.. I do feel bad.. I really want Jamey to feel better and I want this because I am her friend and not for the pure fact that I want to go up north! Well I hope that she knows that! I don't want her to make any of her decisions on me.. So what to do, ya know? Hmm.. Today the weather is beautiful.. Sunny... cooler.. cool breeze.. nice.. and yet I am stuck indoors working... hmmm.. what can you do? In my case not much! :) But you gotta do what you gotta do! So the day is more than half over for which I am excited.. not that I don't like my job.. but lets just say that the weekends are still my favorite part of the week! So 4th of July plans are still uncertain.. but they are coming.. but I will try keep posted as I know things! But for the mean time.. I think I got to focus on right now.. :) And let God work out the rest.. I know that God KNOWS what he is doing.. and whatever is in HIS plans will come to pass.. so I can't wait to see how God is going to pull this weekend off! :p
Em portrait
Geez.. check out that smile and face.. Pretty talented if you ask me! She has definately got the whole taking the picture of yourself by yourself thing down to a "T"... and I guess have a newer sweet camera doesn't hurt! :) Either way she is an amazing girl and hopefully someday I will have a little of the "skill" she does! :) With photography.. she has said she would help me! :) I wonder how easy of a project that will be? Well it is good to see that you have a self potrait setting on your camera and well now everyone else knows that as well! :) Hope to see ya.. but we will see cuz we are running into some obstacles.. but? One can hope!

Some good looking people right there! :) Nice ebrow ring.. and sweatshirt for that matter ;)! Nothing like some great buds, St. Joseph, a beach and a sunset.. Good times! Drew miss ya man! And I just think about how great of friends we are all ready and I can't wait to deepen and extend that frendship.. I can remember the numerous nights of just sitting in your room and talking.. lounging.. chilling.. the many of times we watched movies.. I have got to know you some and you are an amazing person... and you are in my prayers and thoughts always.. Keep me updated (about life, the girl, and whatever else you can think of)! :)
